The Story

A perfect representation of an M1 helmet, in a configuration commonly worn by US Marines in Vietnam. The combination of old stock 1940s, and 1950s parts was typical for Marines, who throughout the 20th century were often given aged, and sometimes out-dated equipment from prior eras.

Genuine US Military issue

A complete set including:

Front seam 40s WW2-era shell

40s WW2-era sewn chinstrap with black-anodised brass hardware

50s brown fibre liner

Wartime sweatband

1966-dated nape strap

50s Frogskin mosquito net cover
